Session Information

For therapy to be effective, it's important to attend sessions regularly and consistently.

Typically, sessions are scheduled at the same time and day each week, unless agreed otherwise.

Session Types

Individual Psychotherapy

For those seeking help with eating-related difficulties, individual sessions are typically the primary form of therapy.

Most clients will engage in one-on-one sessions for the majority of their treatment.

Family Sessions

Family sessions can play a crucial role in treatment. We can think together about whether family sessions could provide valuable support alongside individual therapy.

For some people we might agree that all sessions will be family based depending on the individuals age, preferences and current difficulties.

Couples Sessions

Couples sessions can be an important part of treatment for those dealing with eating-related difficulties, helping partners work together to support recovery and strengthen their relationship.

Specialist Consultation

If you're not yet ready for therapy or are unable to commit financially, a one-off consultation offers a valuable opportunity to better understand your eating-related difficulties.

This session provides insights into your current challenges and offers practical next steps to help you move forward.

This consultation is also available for those who want to learn more about eating disorders and how best to support someone struggling.

Whether you're a parent, loved one, or professional, you'll gain a deeper understanding and receive guidance on effective ways to offer support.

Our Cancellation Policy

If you need to rearrange, postpone, or cancel your session, you must contact us as soon as possible. Therapy sessions cancelled with less than 48-hours notice are charged at the full session rate. This is not covered by insurance.
